February 2011: 6 months old

Zachary loves to eat! He tried his first green, zucchini, and liked it. He's also tried applesauce, mango, avocado, and oatmeal cereal. He started sucking on his feet, which is so cute to watch! Zachary is getting stronger and moving more every day. He's getting up on his hands and knees with his stomach off the ground, and getting onto his hands and toes. He finally said "Dada!" We're still working on "Mama..." We went on our first family trip to a restaurant, and Zachary went to the beach for the first time. Time is flying by!

He makes noises with his hands, feet, toys, anything he can get ahold of! When he gets excited with the noises, he sometimes hits himself too hard in the mouth with the toy, but it doesn't stop him.

Zachary likes drinking water from his big boy cup.

Zachary is on the move! He's been doing the army crawl and getting onto his hands and knees. He's also started doing push ups; on his hands and toes!

He loves looking at people and things upside down.

Zachary found his feet and loves to eat them. When his big belly gets in the way, he's figured out that pulling his pants brings his feet closer to his mouth!

Zachary's first trip to the beach. It was windy and cold, but I promised him next time would be warmer. We went to support my co-workers participating in the Passion Plunge.
