10 Months Old: June

An afternoon and dinner picnic at the beach. Zachary was slowly warming up to the idea of sitting in the sand. He tried eating the dried seaweed many times...

He's still learning how to play with the sand toys correctly!

Zachary loves taking all the books off the shelves, and recently started "reading" the stories.

Zachary loves to climb the stairs, but has to bring a toy with him. Either a ball or the bat. When he gets to the top, his treat is to play on Mommy & Daddy's bed for a few minutes.

May 2011: 9 months old

9 Months Old: May 2011

Zachary has outgrown his allergy to soy! This opened up the door to so many new foods, two of which are now his favorites (green beans & peas). Zachary started giving kisses, but only to Mommy, and also started clapping. He's getting more steady on his feet, standing and walking while pushing something (the laundry basket). He went to the beach for the first time but did not like the sand, so we'll have to work on that this summer. Zachary went on his first long car ride, to Christmas Cove Maine... he was ok as long as he was sleeping. Last but not least, Daddy graduated with his Masters Degree!
